A hoplite is a heavily armed soldier. Hoplites were the heavy infantry in the ancient Greek armies. They wore a bronze armor (torso, helmet) and were armed with a lance and shield.
Story[]
When Eumenes arrives at Kardia in Chapter 2: Hometown Kardia (1), the city is under siege. Macedonian hoplites and cavalry are marching in front of the city gates.
